The Role
As a Private Wealth Service Advisor, you will work alongside a Private Wealth Advisor managing all aspects of clients' financial plans. You will use knowledge in risk, investments and planning to help analyze current situations; and work to develop and process solutions specific to the needs and goals of clients. Detail orientation and the ability to stay organized is a must to facilitate tasking and new business opportunities. From building the recommendations with a Private Wealth Advisor to coordinating the implementation with the Operations team, you will work to help clients define, build, and enjoy their most prosperous life.
Responsibilities of the role
- Assist and work alongside a Private Wealth Advisor in all aspects of client relationship management, including client/ household scheduling, servicing, and ensuring client information is correct and consistent
- Preparation of presentation material for client and prospect meetings
- Attend client meetings to support the Private Wealth Advisors and to capture meeting notes and action items
- Owner of all follow-up and action items that arise during client interactions, including servicing items and new business opportunities.
- Complete periodic internal reviews of managed households/ clients; working to identify areas of opportunity and data inconsistencies to review with Private Wealth Advisor
- Work collaboratively across multiple business units, while exemplifying excellent communication skills, to help achieve client goals
- Complete investment statement analysis with familiarity in Morningstar, investment comparative data, and other reporting tools
- Create and run in-force risk product ledgers, adjusting outputs to match client requests, advisor recommendations, and planning assumption changes
- Review and work to update financial plans in proprietary software, working alongside the Planning Specialist and Operations Team
- Develop an understanding of product selection including risk and investments
- Participation in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings to share and develop skills and best practices
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in financial services preferred, with a background in financial planning.
- Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent secondary education)
- Local Life and Health Insurance Licenses required (or earned within first 30 days of employment)
- Long Term Care License (or earned within determined frequency after hire)
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 Licenses required (or earned within first 90 days of employment)
- CFP preferred (willingness to work towards CFP)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $70,000-$80,000 (contingent on industry experience) + quarterly production bonuses
- Paid for industry licensing (to include study time and exam course material)
