The Mamiye Brothers are a leader in the Fashion industry for 80+ years. We are seeking a dynamic social Media expert to join our diverse team. We pride ourselves on our energenic, creative design and sales team and our commitment to professional growth and development. This Freelance position is located in Manhattan and is part time. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with our talented Designers to invigorate our Social Media platform.

• Forward- thinking, entrepreneurial and fast paced company looking to hire an ideal candidate with a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various Social Media platforms. Our company is currently redesigning our INSTAGRAM Social Media platform for one of our Contemporary Women's Brands.
• This candidate hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate Design and Sales team, who are very excited to share this launch with an experienced candidate that will bring with them extensive online experience. Love of, and passion for women's contemporary denim and sportswear is a must. Elevated fashion sensibility is required as well as previous experience in fashion and social awareness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to INSTAGRAM redesign project
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Create and manage monthly grid IMAGE selections to be posted
• Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
• Optimize website and Social Media
• Research of influencers and engagement
• Cultivate authentic relationships with an audience, develop content people will love; editing audio and video content; live streaming; while conveying brand authority
• Evaluate effectiveness and optimize campaign performance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Marketing/Business
• 3 years of experience with Internet and Social Media platforms
• Energetic and creative
• Hard-working and team oriented
• Portfolio of previous work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
