Ziff Tech Group is looking for a creative and organized Social Media Fellow to help us inform and entertain techies across all major social platforms. You should have an interest in not only creating daily content but also analyzing stats and monitoring trends so we're constantly improving our approach.
Above all, you should be an effective communicator. You'll be answering community concerns, collaborating with the video and editorial teams, and breaking down performance results for management.
What will be your responsibilities
- Create and distribute Mashable and PCMag content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Organize and publish video content
- Write engaging, clean copy that's consistent with the Mashable and PCMag voice
- Help brainstorm and create vertical video for Tiktok and Instagram Reels
- Research emerging platforms and trends to help us find new ways to reach audiences
- Monitor and relay community concerns
- Collect and analyze performance data
What does it take to do this job
- Passion for tech, pop culture, and a desire to keep learning more
- Social Media management experience, ideally for a company or institution
- Can devise and execute content ideas on a short turnaround
- An independent, self-motivated worker who knows when to ask questions
- Able to juggle daily social tasks with larger, long-term growth projects

*Note: Disclosure as required by NYCHRL, the hourly rate for this role when being performed in the City of New York is $15.50/hr. Compensation for this business unit specific role is based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, as well as business & company performance.
