Social Media Coordinator Intern

Dr. Allison's Healing Practice is a renowned holistic healing center specializing in ThetaHealing® and empowering individuals to achieve holistic wellness. We are seeking a motivated Social Media Intern to join our team and assist in expanding our online presence and engagement across various Social Media platforms for a 4-month time period. We are looking for an independent, motivated, organized, and hard-working intern to join our team as soon as possible! The ideal client shares a genuine interest in energy medicine, expanding intuition, holistic health, healing practices, and personal development.

As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with Dr. Allison to create compelling content, engage with our audience, and implement Social Media strategies to promote our healing services and seminars and growing socal media presence.

The position is part-time, un-paid with very flexible hours. Some experience is preferred but not required. At the end of the internship, interns will have college credit where applicable, letters of recommendation, and assistance with networking and contacts.

The candidate will create and maintain a strong online presence for our company and lead Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube marketing and managing these Social Media channels to promote growth and increase engagement. The candidate will understand the target audience and create an appropriate strategy to reach this group. There will also be some very light graphic design work needed for Social Media posts so you don't have to be a graphic designer but some experience with Canva is needed.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 hours per week, unpaid, flexible times, and located on the East Coast (EST time zone only)
• Strong attention to detail, good grammar, excellent writing skills, and ability to follow directions. The a

• Basic understanding of posting platforms like Canva, Later & Planoly & others

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing or already acquired a degree in Marketing, Social Media Management or related field
• Experience as a Social Media Coordinator is a huge plus!
• Strong organization & time-management skills
• Strong communication and trend forecasting skills
• Tech savvy and proficient in creating & uploading content, editing video and posting to SM channels such as Instagram, Facebook & Youtube
• Excellent grammar skills
• Composing creative captions that connect with our audience is a plus!

You will be working directly with the designer/CEO of the company so you will have first hand experience and there will be flexibility to allow you to take on projects that interest you so you can gain experience that will best suit your resume and goals. College credit is available upon request. Must be able to work East Coast hours but this position is fully remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research target audience and discover current trends
• Assist in posting engaging content true to brand image
• Assist in creating editorial calendar and manage posts on Social Media channels.
• Respond to inquires and maintain engagement on Social Media channels.
• Develop optimal posting schedule based on research to grow the brand's following.
• Tracking & compiling data of content performance
• Some ad hoc related to Social Media growth
