The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day community management of the company’s social properties and assisting with developing Social Media campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s Social Media practices over time. Reports to the Social Media Lead.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manages a high volume of Social Media communications, including comments and direct messages, in accordance with our SLA across all entities' social channels
- Develops and implementing effective Social Media strategies
- Creates content that attracts the attention of the target audience
- Assists in scheduling Social Media posts
- Monitors Social Media metrics and KPIs regularly
- Comes up with innovative ideas and concepts
- Works in collaboration with Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing teams
- Assists Copywriters, ensuring the content is attractive and engaging
- Researches new concepts and ideas and proposing them to the team
- Prepares campaign reports and presenting them to the Social Media Specialist
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of Social Media management and strategy.
- Experience using various Social Media management software including Sprout Social.
- Working knowledge of SaaS tools relevant to managing multiple Social Media platforms.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and others.
- Strong understanding of Social Media KPI and metrics.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Working experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Analyst, or a similar role.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks equally well.
- A creative thinker with an ability to think out of the box.
- Solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of Social Media experience
