Social Media Coordinator
Job Overview:
As a Social Media Coordinator at Maronda Homes, you will plan, create, execute, and monitor compelling content across various Social Media platforms. Your goal will be to enhance our brand image, increase online engagement, create content (website, blogs, all marketing avenues), and drive traffic to our digital channels. This role requires a strategic thinker passionate about Social Media trends, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
● Manage day-to-day activities on all Social Media platforms, including posting, monitoring, and responding to all audience interactions.
● Stay abreast of industry trends, Social Media algorithms, and emerging platforms to optimize our Social Media strategy.
2. Content Creation:
● Develop and curate engaging and shareable content for Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
● Write blog posts, press releases, community descriptions, home descriptions, website content, etc., using SEO I best practices and following Maronda brand voice.
● Encourage user-generated content (UGC) and implement strategies to increase user participation.
● Collaborate with the Maronda marketing team to align content with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns.
● Work closely with The Email Marketing Coordinator to ensure email marketing and social campaigns align.
● Work closely with our in-house photographer/videographer to help curate content.
● Upload and organize content into Maronda’s Shared Google Drive and Management Systems.
3. Campaign Development:
● Contribute to the planning and executing Social Media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
● Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and conversions through social channels.
● Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of Social Media campaigns.
● Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, preferred, or equivalent experience.
● Passionate about Social Media marketing and content writing.
● Strong understanding of Social Media platforms, trends, and best practices.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva/Photoshop is a bonus.
● Proficient in using Social Media management, scheduling, and analytics tools (IE: Buffer, Brandwatch, Hootsuite).
● General understanding of SEO, and how content and structure impacts organic rankings.
● Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and visual aesthetics.
● Ability to work independently and a part of a collaborative team
