The Social Media team, as part of the larger Marketing division at Independence Blue Cross, oversees creating, curating, and managing content to promote our family of brands across multiple Social Media channels and outlets.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this student role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Core goals include:
•Growing Social Media audiences across all channels and expanding reach and engagement through associate brand advocacy.
•Working across the organization's business brands and business areas to drive a cohesive and unified approach to content marketing and communications strategies, including: humanizing and localizing the brand through associate stories and the promotion of local sponsored events and supporting the company mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
•Overseeing the monitoring, listening, and responses to users in a "social" way to support an excellent customer experience, while also cultivating leads, sales, retention, and brand awareness.
•Using real-time data, analytics, and insights to measure performance, inform new strategies, and identify new opportunities.
•Staying ahead of rapidly changing Social Media landscape to determine technology roadmap for social tools and platforms.
Required Skills:

•Working knowledge of Social Media channels, including but not limited to blogs, internet forums, social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.
•Basic understanding of Social Media management platforms and tools such as Hootesuite, Sprout Social, Khoros, or Sprinkler, Later, Canva, Wordpress, SEO, and Google Analytics/Keywords.
•Ability to combine conceptual, creative, and strategic thinking with tactical execution.
•Knowledge of MS Office.

Classification: Senior or Recent Graduate
Minimum GPA: 3.5+
