Position Overview:
As part of CCM's Social Media Team, the Social Media Content Creator will craft engaging content for various Social Media platforms, stay updated with trends, and possess a keen understanding of design principles. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and a deep understanding of Social Media best practices to drive engagement and expand our brand presence across multiple platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, create, and execute captivating and on-trend content for various Social Media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.
- Design Expertise: Utilize design tools and software to produce visually appealing graphics, videos, and images. Knowledge of creating short-form video content (reels, TikTok videos) and other platform-specific content formats is essential.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest Social Media trends, viral content, and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Team to align content strategy with marketing initiatives, campaigns, and brand objectives.
- Photography and Graphic Design: Apply photography skills and graphic design knowledge to enhance content quality. Experience in photo editing, graphic creation, and visual storytelling is highly valued.
- Analytics and Optimization: Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and use insights to optimize content strategy, aiming for increased engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Adjust content strategies to changes in Social Media algorithms, trends, and audience behavior.
- Extensive collaboration within a team environment.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in content creation, Social Media management, or a similar role.
- Experience in content creation for Social Media platforms, with a portfolio showcasing a range of engaging content.
- Proficiency in design software/tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Social Media analytics and the ability to interpret data to make informed content decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Photography and graphic design experience is a plus.
- Mortgage industry experience a plus.
