Overview
Our fashion brand in New York is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media & Content Coordinator. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives on bringing new ideas to the table while also working closely with senior management to execute monthly directives. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating captivating content, managing our Social Media platforms, and contributing to the overall success of our brand.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
- Lead weekly marketing content meetings and manage the creation of new content documents.
- Design, write copy, and schedule emails to engage our audience and drive sales.
- Produce and schedule Instagram posts using approved fonts and imagery, while actively managing the ecommerce calendar.
- Oversee and gather behind-the-scenes content for photoshoots, ensuring a seamless production process.
- Collaborate on creative concepting for campaigns and photoshoots, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Configure and execute email marketing campaigns, including content creation and distribution, to engage our customer base.
- Shoot and/or edit Reels and still imagery as needed to enhance our brand's storytelling.
- Write all website copy to ensure consistency and alignment with our brand voice.
- Build and manage TikTok and Pinterest accounts, posting and curating content to drive engagement.
- Oversee and produce blog content, ensuring it aligns with our brand's messaging and aesthetic.
- Provide quarterly Social Media reports and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Strategic Planning and Team Collaboration:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy across our Social Media platforms, website, and advertisements.
- Manage Social Media platforms, including posting content, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
- Create assets, banners, and promotional media, to maintain brand consistency and enhance visibility.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain brand aesthetic and congruence across all marketing channels.
Analytics and Optimization:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize return on investment.
Qualifications & Qualities:
- Proven experience in content creation, Social Media management, & email design preferably within the fashion industry.
- Strong creative vision and ability to bring new ideas to the table while also executing monthly directives from senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging copy and communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing tools.
- Experience with Social Media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and a deep understanding of Social Media trends and best practices.
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Takes direction well.
- Strong time management skills and work ethic.
