As an SMT Technician/Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our surface mount assembly equipment, including pick and place, SPI, and AOI machines. You will work closely with our production team and process engineer to ensure that all electronic components are assembled accurately and efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Setting up and calibrating machines according to production specifications.
- Loading and unloading materials onto the machines.
- Monitoring the assembly process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during production.
- Conducting routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Following Lean Six Sigma principles to minimize waste and improve processes.
- Documenting all changes and adjustments made to the machines.
- Working to improve run yield and reduce defects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in electronic manufacturing, specifically with surface mount assembly using pick and place machines.
- Familiarity with SPI and AOI machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.35 - $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
