Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Small Cell Construction Foreman, in our Nashville, TN location. Responsibilities:
Field Duties (90-95% of work time):
- Must be able to travel up to two weeks at a time.
- Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of climbing ladders, water tanks or rooftops.
- Must have experience installing concrete foundations (rebar cages, forming, etc) with anchor rods and concrete finishing.
- Preferred experience in operating equipment (excavator, fork truck, concrete walk behind saw).
- Perform common construction tasks in and around rural and public jobsites.
- Provide oversight and coordination of subcontractors and / or city inspectors.
- Must have the physical ability to lift materials up to 100 lbs, use common hand and electrical tools.
- Provide superior customer service and verbal communication skills while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety standard/regulations (OSHA, ENSA, etc.)
Office Duties (5-10% of work time):
- Prepare and load materials for future projects.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to general construction applications.
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 year general construction experience preferred; some material handling equipment experience highly preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
