Form of work• Proficient in Business objects development including Designs Universes, Classes, Objects, and Hierarchies for Multidimensional Analysis of underlying ERP R12 financial data sets • Must have experience with the business domain of Oracle ERP R12 financial data sets including Orders, Revenue, Inventory, Customer etc. Must have experience working with Oracle R12 ERP Financial data in a data warehouse • Must have experience with testing reports for a large number of end-users, resolve tickets raised during testing and able to trace lineage of data by reading Teradata BTEQ scripts on a UNIX platform • Must have experience to write Design Specifications based on Requirements. Develops complete specifications or Source to Client Mapping document which details the business rules and enables developers to write ETL code and create schemas & reports.
• Must have experience to Assist in delivery of ad-hoc requests for data and reports amd Document and provide user training and Support all Business Objects applications post deployment • Must have experience working with Teradata warehouse including experience reviewing BTEQ scripts on a UNIX platform. • Ability Interface with data architects and Business Analysts to define necessary Business Objects Universes, queries and reports required to meet end-user needs • Develop, test, and deploy dashboards and other analytical reports based on user requirements • Performs data analysis by connecting to source systems and profiling and viewing data and understanding relationships between data • Experience in SQL and using Teradata SQL assistant to view data • Designs overall system including Teradata scripts, Informatica, Business Objects Web Intelligence Reports, Universes and Xcelsius dashboards • Analyzes subject-matter reports to be automated; specifies number and types of records, files, and documents to be used in ETL processes and outputs to be produced; prepares diagrams and data flow charts; and coordinates tests of the systems and participates in trial runs of new and revised data marts. • Applies systems analysis and design techniques to resolve complex problems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant computer-related field AND 10 or more years IT experience. • Must have 5 years professional working experience as an Enterprise data warehouse business analyst or systems analyst • Experience with Business Object XI R2/R3, Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, CMC, Crystal Reports, Xcelsius 2008, Business Objects Data Integrator, Business Objects Data Services, Business Objects Data Federator is a nice to have • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations Job Skills Competence in all phases of systems analysis techniques, concepts, and methods and knowledge of available system software, computer equipment, and the regulations, structure, techniques, and management practices of one or more subject-matter areas. • 5 years using Business Objects and using Oracle ERP Financial data sets • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
