Job Summary

Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our slotting team.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

• Evaluate and designate locations for product throughout the warehouse, optimizing warehouse configuration, minimizing damages, and ensuring compliance with all legal guidelines.
• Slot new items, re-slot items, and un-slot items as needed.
• Communicate with all shifts regarding any product location changes.
• Move product to new locations.
• Operate pallet jack and manually transport product.
• Weigh items on the Cubiscan, and ensure all data is transferred into appropriate systems.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel including receivers and inventory associates.
• Use blueprints to determine racking elevations.
• Computer skills required; SAP, AS/400, and/or OptiSlot experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in all types of temperatures.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.
