Skilled Resort Maintenance Worker

Maintenance is responsible for the up-keep and repair of all resort facilities and grounds. Such duties must be carried out with a professional attitude. This position is expected to follow the direction of the Resort Maintenance Director and must assist other maintenance employees in completion of duties as necessary.
Applicant must have electrical and or plumbing skills.  Applicant must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools. 

- Assist Resort Maintenance Director and carry out assignments when directed.
- Pick up trash and discard smoking materials from all LCCI facilities and common areas, including parking lots.
- Perform interior and exterior painting and staining.
- Performs routine maintenance of resort amenities on a daily basis.
- Wash windows as directed.
- Maintain all decks and walkways to ensure they are free of sand, gravel and debris.
- Wash down approaches to hotels, restaurant and bar entries as needed.
- Water and tend flowerbeds, flower boxes, trees and plants on the grounds of LCCI.
- Cut or trim grass (zero turn), trees, hedges as needed.
- Perform necessary repairs as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Maintenance Yard and all tools and equipment.
- Assist at special events when needed and directed.
- Properly maintain cleanliness and sanitation or resort swimming pool and hot tub.
- Other duties as requested by the Resort Maintenance Director.

- Must have experience in general maintenance.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Must be a team player with willingness to help LCCI achieve the reputation as a premier destination resort.
- Must be able to anticipate problems and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties required of the position.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must have valid driver's license.
