SJH Crisis Counselor (All locations) - Bachelor's level

Safe Journey House is a 10-day residential crisis facility for individuals with persistent and chronic mental illnesses. The program offers a safe and highly structured home-like environment that is staffed 24hours/7days a week/365 days’ year.

We are currently hiring for a full- time & part-time entry-level Residential Crisis Counselor position at the various location.

Weekday day shift (7:00a.m-3:30p.m), Weekday evening shift (2:30p.m - 11p.m), Weekday overnight (10:30p.m-7a.m).

Weekend day shift (7:00a.m-3:30p.m), Weekend evening shift (2:30p.m - 11p.m), Weekend overnight (10:30p.m-7a.m).

A Bachelor's degree is required, no exceptions!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor consumer's psychiatric symptoms
• Provide direct care and support to patients with serious and persistent mental health diagnosis
• Maintain accurate client documentation/records
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary system
• Work with multi-need clients; psychiatric, medical/substance abuse

Who Should Apply:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Social Sciences
• Individuals interested in secondary employment, such as graduate students
• The position is an entry-level opportunity. The expectation is 6 to 12 months on the job training to prepare for a long term career in behavioral health

• 18/per hour + Bonuses
