This position is responsible for overseeing Front Office Staff with scheduling and checking in patients for appointments in an efficient warm, friendly, and timely manner. Responsible for working with the front desk, medical assistants, medical records departments, team members, and administration members as well as supervising daily operations of the clinic to ensure quality patient care and excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Leadership and Management to Clinical Staff and Front Office Staff
- Supervise and coordinate various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, corrective action, promotions, timeclocks and vacation schedules.
- Train on existing and new procedures/protocols pertaining to Wayzata Children's Clinic, with follow up auditing of procedures
- Participates in development of policies, procedures and standards for all clinics.
- Evaluate and monitor clinic flow to ensure that patients are scheduled appropriately and other processes to maximize efficiencies.
- Back up for Front Office tasks when needed including, but not limited to; scheduling, prepping, scanning/medical records/patient reports etc.
- Attend designated events and meetings, as necessary, including evenings and weekends.
- Maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Computer and multi-line experience
- Capability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency is needed
- Great written communication skills
- Medical Terminology is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Team Player
Position Details:
- Full Time
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Salary starts at $49,920 annually (Dependant on experience)
- Location: Maple Grove, MN / In Clinic position
- 90 Day Training period
- Exempt (Not eligible for overtime)
