Sugarwish is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team. Working directly under the COO, you will manage a Fulfillment Center to ensure that our products are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with a high-quality presentation, while meeting applicable KPI’s.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Fulfillment Center
- Meet and/or exceed organizational goals related to production and operating costs
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate Fulfillment Center performance guiding the fulfillment manager on appropriate action plans and activities to meet and improve operational goals/ KPIs
- Translate and set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and future planning - continuous improvement champion for the facility
- Develop new KPIs and processes to improve the overall approach
- Develop relevant SOPs to be implemented at the Fulfillment Center
- Ensure training and implementation of new and/or updated policies, processes, and procedures are appropriately executed.
- Coach fulfillment manager as needed regarding budget and other financial issues to ensure that the Fulfillment Center meets its financial commitments.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels, packing plans and warehouse logistics for current and projected needs and coach the fulfillment manager on the best course of action
- Communicate and maintain relationships with staffing agencies
- Communicate with Sales/ Customer Service on quality issues, large orders, and specific customer needs
- Plan and coordinate all large holidays
- Oversee facility level actions related to the launch of new products
- Oversee fulfillment operations and employee productivity, ensure team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
- Foster a growth-oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Create and manage facility level P&L - analyze and report
Who You Are:
- 5-7 years of leadership within a fast paced production environment
- Ability to lead, manage and develop employees while maintaining effective working relationships and communication with key stakeholders
- Working knowledge of a P&L and ability to identify drivers of cost and improvement opportunities
- Proficient in Google Suite; ShipStation experience highly desirable,
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or Logistics or related field preferred
- Experience working with an extensive SKU and customer base
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Methodologies (Lean/6Sigma)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the day. Ability to continue moving and standing throughout the day without sitting down.
