The eMobility segment is one of the most dynamic environments in industry today. Successful professionals within the space must be comfortable with adapting to changing inputs on a near daily basis.
The Site Field Sales Application Engineerwill be located at key eMobility end user site (Normal, IL) and work under the direction of the Key Account Manager, with the primarily responsible for supporting Graco sales activities at the particular site. The Site Engineer will serve as the single point of contact for coordinating all Graco related activities within the facility, including engineering guidance, training, installation, coordinating startup activities and maintenance, technical assistance, performing line audits, maintaining spare part inventories, and driving Graco preference by providing the best possible customer experience.
The right candidate will be obsessed with delivering the best possible experience to our customers while simultaneously working to develop relationships within our customer's facility.
The Site Engineer will:

  • Be part of a world class team in the fast growing eMobility market
  • Be one of Graco's experts on fluid handling applications and use that knowledge to specify solutions that provide excellent performance and return on investment for our customers.
  • Partner with all customer stakeholders to provide the best possible after sale experience
  • Work in some of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world, installing and supporting complex equipment solutions.
  • Develop deep relationships at our end customer site and work with them to incorporate Graco equipment into their systems and processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems - improving our customers' efficiency, productivity and overall profitability.
  • Serve as a single point liaison between the customer and Graco sales management.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Commensurate education, skills and demonstrated experience to work remotely in a highly technical capacity across a range of industrial settings
  • Experience with dispensing equipment and /or adhesives, sealants, and coatings is desirable
  • Working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot PLC communication
  • 1-5 years experience with technical selling, service, or support. New engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the end user organization - maintenance, engineering, plant level and corporate management.
  • Willingness to travel 20%
