We are looking for a full-time Account Executive to join our team in Nashville, TN (Franklin) or Chicago, IL (on-site).

About the role
In addition to the responsibilities outlined, you will play a crucial role in business development and account growth of our clients in the manufacturing sector. Your sales expertise will be instrumental in qualifying opportunities and expanding our client base. This includes collaborating with internal teams, managing a territory of existing clients and hunting for new business.
- Own the sales process to achieve individual and team based quotas and deliver against KPI’s.
- Engage and collaborate with internal teams like Pre-Sales, Business Development, Platform Development, and Project Management to drive forward opportunities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities in partnership with Business Development team.
- Qualify prospect challenges to develop offering and recommendation specific to their needs and objectives.
- Expand relationships with existing customer base through strong account management practices & alignment with Project Management.
- Develop proposals & project specifications that meet our client’s needs.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder engagements to sell HowToRobot product offerings & gain client trust.
- Partner with Pre-Sales to best support complex customer opportunities & Key Account Sales to best support strategic customer relationships.
- Respond to inbound leads generated from Marketing, Social Media, Strategic Partnerships and more.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales & account management processes within HowToRobot.
What we expect from you
In addition to the qualifications mentioned, we are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales within the manufacturing sector. Experience from the robotics/industrial automation sector is a plus, but your ability to effectively manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, coupled with your understanding of the intricacies of the manufacturing industry, will be key in driving success in this role.
- 5+ years minimum experience of owning a sales territory or managing/renewing a book of accounts.
- Broad all-round experience with technical and/or solution qualification for a manufacturing operation.
- Firm understanding of the inner workings and decision-making process of a manufacturing operation.
- Organization: You are meticulous about your pipeline and are able to juggle a variety of different customers at different stages of the sales process at any given time.
- Communication: You ask the questions needed to help move the process forward and build/maintain positive rapport with stakeholders.
- Experienced IT user or with a great willingness to learn about systems such as CRM and the HowToRobot platform (www.howtorobot.com).

Our headquarter office is in Copenhagen, Denmark but we have growing operations in Chicago and Nashville, US and Barcelona, Spain. Our main language is English as we have many nationalities on our team.
