We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operator 2 to join our team. This is a critical role that requires working independently, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth operation and adherence to quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and warehouse, to coordinate production activities
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of packaging operations, including assembly, machining, and forklift operation
- Familiarity with basic math calculations for measuring ingredients or materials
- Proficient in quality control procedures and able to perform inspections according to established protocols
- Experience working in a warehouse setting, including inventory management and material handling
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness in the production area
Skills:
- Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to train, guide, and motivate team members
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Must be able to stand for the duration of 8 hours
- Must be able to lift a min of 25lb.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
