Position Reports To: Operations Director
Position Summary: A Site Coordinator works with the Program Coordinator to maintain an inclusive and authentic learning space for Dorill’s young citizen artists. Site Coordinators are responsible for remaining aware of artists’ needs throughout the day and communicating effectively with Artistic Coaches or with families as needed. Site Coordinator is an enthusiastic community advocate with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the site by monitoring activities, providing training to staff, and responding to emergencies
- Manage staff schedules and tasks to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards and industry laws, regulations, and policies
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, young citizen artists, and their families
- Oversee the daily operations at the site, including set up for learning space, sign in for staff and students, and communication as needed with families
- Maintain accurate records, including personnel, and operational reports
- Encourage the cultivation of Dorill culture through Unity Circle activities with young citizen artists
Position Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Experience working with children in educational and developmental settings
- Exceptional interpersonal & intrapersonal skills and commitment to representing Dorill’s mission, vision, and values with enthusiasm, warmth and professionalism
- Excellent organizational, critical and problem solving skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead with grace, humor and accountability for self and others
- Familiar with Google Workspace
- Foster and maintain Dorill Initiative's culture of continuous learning
Position Compensation:
Job Type: Part-Time, $20 per hour
Saturday Arts Job Commitment: 10 Hours per Week, September 2024 - June 2025
