Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2024 through June 2026.

We are looking for an intern to work with our Design, Signal & Power integrity team to assist with Power Integrity issues (such as di/dt, de-coupling design & optimization, etc.).

Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.
Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.

Responsibilities
- Automate component to system capacitors optimization using Python script
- Generate impedance curve based on power and di/dt
- Compare optimized impedance curves with reference design and select optimum PDN solution
- Capacitor model library development and RLC model fitting, by fitting typical input capacitor impedance curve to a simplified lumped circuit, e.g., series RLC (both magnitude and phase) and proposing best possible typical RLC lumped circuit topology.
- High speed serdes and DDR Signal and Power Integrity design & analysis.
Qualifications
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Python
