SHUTTLE DRIVER POSITION SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to provide superior service to guests and clients. Duties include safely and efficiently operating a golf cart or shuttle to transport guests to and from one designated destination to another. This is a guest service position requiring safe and efficient transportation of facility/site visitors and being of assistance to all guests and visitors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SHUTTLE DRIVER

• Keep shuttle clean and in working order using the PMC shuttle program
• Maintain vehicle/shuttle safety precautions using the PMC shuttle program
• Immediately report any equipment issues to account manager/guest service manager
• Effectively, efficiently, and safely transport facility/site visitors and customers using the shuttle
• Complete required training modules in a timely manner
• Maintain a work friendly atmosphere and a team environment
• Keep valet / shuttle staging area clean and professional
• Maintain a high level of communication and service for all guests and clients
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve guest issues proactively or in a timely manner
• Able to meet PMC grooming and uniform requirements
• Effectively uses safety precautions to eliminate potential injuries and vehicle accidents from occurring
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Account Manager or Account Manager

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SHUTTLE DRIVER

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each requirement satisfactorily.

• Ability to drive a golf cart or shuttle in a safe manner
• Ability to pass motor vehicle record and background screening requirements
• CDL License Required
• Ability to be familiar with designated routes and various roads for efficient transportation of visitors to correct areas
• Clean cut, professional, uniform appearance
• Enjoy interacting with the public, freely offering assistance
• Working outside regardless of weather conditions
• Ability to perform lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending and standing throughout shift as needed
• Must be knowledgeable of account location(s), and approved parking areas
• Must understand, follow, and uphold all company policies and procedures
• Ability to work with teammates to ensure site customer service levels are met on a consistent basis
• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, carry 50 lbs. of luggage, and run or jog as needed
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of guests and hotel information
• Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes
