We are looking to grow our team with exceptional individuals and we are excited to have a new job opening for a Showroom Sales Representative that our goal is to mold and train to become a Commercial Interior Designer.
The right candidate is expected to embrace our philosophy that his/her job is to educate and present solutions to prospective clients and not be a pushy salesperson. Many of our customers are repeat customers because they enjoy working with us and our excellent level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain which Office Furniture lines best fit the customer's requirements (Training will be provided)
- Provide accurate quotes to customers
- Keep customers updated with their order status
- Coordinate delivery between the client and installation company
- Be comfortable being on camera and create informational and review videos that will be on TikTok and YouTube
- When the manager is out on appointments, open the showroom stores. (Open gates, turn on lights, turn on AC, etc)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales
- Big plus if you are familiar with the Office Furniture Industry (Not required)
- Big plus if you are familiar with Sketchup, CAD, CET (Not required)
- Very detailed oriented
- Exceptional follow-thru and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Trustworthy
This is a great opportunity for you if you wish to learn how to do space planning and design, how to use CET which is a software specifically for the Office Furniture industry to design commercial spaces and specify Office Furniture.
Compensation: Depends on your knowledge and work history $20 - $25 + commission + SPIFFS from manufacturers
Your earning potential should be focused on earning commissions and it all depends on your willingness to learn about the different lines of furniture that we represent and your design skills in order to win projects. The more you know the better you can articulate solutions to potential clients. You will start by selling a chair or a desk and slowly move to designing a home office, then a couple of offices, a conference room, all the way to full on projects that could be 30k, 50k, 100K+ (realistically this could take 2 - 3 years). We will slowly build your confidence but it all depends on you.
