Shop Assistant

Johnny's backyard is seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. We sell As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has a passion for building.

Must Have Driver license and reliable transportation.

Duties:

- Assist with fabricating and assembling various products

- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete tasks

- Utilize forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Skills:

- Constrauction knowledge and aptitude

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools

- Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints/ sketch sheets, pick tickets.

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
