SalaryThis position is on day shift: 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday & weekends as needed. Previous forklift & shipping experience is required. We offer weekly pay plus monthly attendance bonuses.
Experience:
- Forklift: At least 2 years of previous sit-down experience is required.
- Previous experience with handheld RF scanner is required.
- Previous experience with Shipping and Receiving is required.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in order picking and packing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- 8 + hour shift
- Must have weekend availability
Job Summary:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Load and unload trucks with a sit-down forklift.
- Utilize ERP systems
- Utilize RF scanner
- Stocking merchandise within the warehouse
- Computer Data entry
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or shipping documents.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Prepare packages for shipping, including labeling, and documentation.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Verify the accuracy of all deliveries and inspect the quantities of goods delivered and determine if anything is damaged.
- Collaborate and communicate with logistics and supervisors.
- Must make sure that the shipment of all products, material and supplies is in order.
- Maintain warehouse and inventory.
- Prepare material for shipping by banding, scanning and processing.
- Move/organize materials throughout the warehouse as needed with forklift and Pallet-Jack.
- Must be comfortable with technology.
- Print and apply labels.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
- Work as part of a team.
