Position Overview
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling all aspects of outbound/inbound shipping. This includes packing orders, booking shipments, and shipping products.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents, verifying accuracy on packing slips and bill of ladings
- Packages orders with appropriate packing material to ensure quality delivery
- Gets orders ready for pick-up
- Assist in cycle counting and auditing outbound/inbound shipments
- Works with Managers to address any Shipping/Receiving delivery issues
- Prevent Shipping/Receiving errors through verifying one's own work and others
- Assist with special projects as requested
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Exhibits familiarity with Shipping/Receiving and billing procedures

- Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervision
- Excellent organization skills, communication skills, capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously, and excellent time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Related work experience
- Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Must be very detail oriented
- Must be highly motivated without the need for continuous direction
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse setting
- Appropriate attire with safe comfortable shoes, no open toes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Tuesday to Friday
· Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet Company attendance requirements, including being flexible to come in early and/or stay late, or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it.
