Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Whiting Systems, Inc. is the industry leader in manufacturing large vehicle wash systems, wash soaps and disinfectants. Dynamic growth and promotion from within creates a need for new employee in our parts department for a well qualified Shipping/Receiving/ inventory control specialist. This position will work in a warehouse environment and will be exposed to outdoor temperatures. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

• Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded, checks against suppliers’ count and immediately reports discrepancies
• Process purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Perform physical count of inventory
• Reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Receive shipments and enter into database
• Close Purchase orders upon receipt
• Create packing lists and bill of lading for projects for shipment
• Cycle counting experience
• Coordinate with project manager to ensure production deadlines are met

Minimum of two years relevant inventory experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The team member frequently is required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
