Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Job Summary:
To play a key role in day-to-day functional operations of the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Key responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and superior quality of customers’ orders in accordance with the sales order and related production documents before product transfer to the Shipping/Receiving Department.
• Safely transfer finished product from the Production Department to the Shipping/Receiving Department in an effective and timely manner.
• Correctly stage finished product according to the sales order, package or wrap/band finished product in accordance to the transportation method for effective and secure transit.
• Safely load outbound freight and unload inbound freight as required.
• Safely store received materials in proper areas or racking in an efficient and timely manner
• Assist the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor in daily responsibilities when needed or if absent to ensure time-effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and a superior quality process flow.
• Ensure department is clean and organized at all times and free of hazards and safety violations.

Other Job Details

• Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Shipping, Warehouse, or Production experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• High School diploma (or GED) required
• Must be able to pass background and drug tests
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
