Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. If you have experience in warehouse operations and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitor the unloading of all materials into the Receiving Department.

· Verify all merchandise deliveries according to Company standards.

· Ensure receiving reports accurately report material received.

· Resolve discrepancies with purchasing regarding purchase orders, packing slips, and receiver reports.

· Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Purchasing for timely data entry.

· Oversee the movement of material from Receiving to the appropriate warehouse or department in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.

· Ensure timely and accurate input of all receiving information into the ERP system.

· Ensure the accurate processing of all transfers, re-wraps and damaged shipments based on company policies and procedures.

· Ensure an orderly and neatly maintained receiving area.

· Ensure all SASWAY trailers are loaded each day.

· Text SASWAY drivers the tanker and trailer #s.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Meets all job specific education requirements as deemed necessary.
• Minimum 1 year experience in receiving.
• Demonstrate the ability for communication, verbally and written, along with good listening skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and possess good team building skills.
• Use time wisely, willing to accept change, and initiate self and team development.
• Complete work under safe operating procedures.
• Provide input as appropriate regarding safety.
• Ensure working conditions are safe and enforce safety requirements.
• Provide input on safety reviews.
• Maintain clean work environment and support 5 S standards.
