SALARY RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00 / Hour
OVERVIEW
Pelsue is the industry leader in manufacturing worker safety products and vehicles for the telephone, utility and construction industries. We have a busy warehouse and shipping department in our Englewood facility where we ship via UPS, FedEx, DHL and LTL. We have an immediate need for a Shipping Specialist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive knowledge of UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments using individual computer programs to generate labels and BOL's for shipping various products to customers
domestically as well as internationally
- Pull, prepare and ship daily outgoing shipments
- Familiar with incoterms, freight classifications and International shipping
- Troubleshoot shipping issues
- Assist in receiving incoming shipments
COMPENTENCIES
- Computer literate and basic math skills required
- Attention to detail with strong understanding of the shipping process
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Positive attitude while working within a valued team environment
- Certified in safe forklift operations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a warehouse, shipping and receiving team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly lift, box and palletize product required to be shipped accurately and securely to customers. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work while onsite are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some overtime may be required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or GED required. Previous shipping experience needed.
