Veritas Document Solutions an RR Donnelley Company, a leading provider of technology-driven communications solutions has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiver at our Buffalo Grove, IL location.

Job Description

• Oversee manufacturing operations shift with the objective of maximizing productivity of quality products while minimizing costs. 
• Ensure that all processes are being followed in the completion of work tasks. 
• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met.  
• Oversee operations, maintenance, and purchase and stocking of supplies and raw materials.  
• Maintain and updates daily production records and produces reports as necessary. 
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all employees.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronic job scheduling and email communications.
• The ability to communicate well, transmit and interpret information/ideas (internally and externally).
• Ability to perform day to day skills that assist in the efficient production of a project.
• Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote skills
• Ability to identify and define problem components and effective solutions.
• Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction in both the tasks performed and the relationship.
• Provide regular reporting and updates of account activity.
• Satisfactory delivery of products and services to the client

Additional Information

• High School diploma or GED is required. At least 2 years of production experience is preferred.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently and with a team to achieve production expectations.
• Must be well organized and able to communicate effectively with various departments within the organization.
• Must be able to work outside normal working hours to accommodate production needs when required.

 

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.00 - $20.00 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
