Summary
Provide Shipping and Receiving operations for Cache Creek Casino Resort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
- Shipping out and receiving in of goods for Cache Creek Casino Resort.
- Follow Cache Creek Casino Resort guidelines for accepting product with emphasis on quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Down-stacking of incoming shipments while inspecting for damage, checking expiration codes, checking for quantity accuracy in relation to company purchase orders, documenting discrepancies, verifying product weights, and compliance to HACCP guidelines.
- Proper labeling and storage of product until product has been delivered to the appropriate department.
- Preparing and tracking of shipments sent from Cache Creek Casino Resort.
- Working as a team to keep the dock area clean and organized.

Experience and/or Education
Up to one year related experience or training. Candidate must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem solve in situations involving many variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
Must have a valid California Driver License.
Must be able to pass Cache Creek Casino Resort training for electric lifts and jacks, as well as electric/internal combustion forklifts.
Candidates must also be able to pass a Serve Safe training class.

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Shipping/Receiving dock is moderately loud due to diesel truck engines and trailers as well as noise due to cart traffic, fly fans, and indoor temperature control units.
