Shipping Lead 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide guidance to employees in the shipping department
- Ongoing communication with department management and employees to ensure shipping needs are met
- Responsible for checking shipping area and equipment for issues or damage
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are documented and properly followed
- Ensure employees are wearing proper PPE
Must demonstrate the ability to react to change and handle any other essential tasks as assigned by the supervisor, which may include assignments in other areas.
This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.
Qualified candidates for the Shipping Lead position should posses the following:
- Well organized and detail orientated
- Able to work assigned hours, including weekends, and available to work a flexible schedule when needed
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong computer skills, Windows PC, MS Excel, MS Office Suite and other related applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good math skills
- Good people skills
