Shipping Coordinator

Full Time Shipping Coordinator          Monday - Friday    8:30am-5:00pm       Starting Wage: $12/hr

As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the shipping process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Your primary focus will be on organizing shipments, preparing documentation, and collaborating with various teams to streamline the shipping workflow. Strong computer skills are essential for this role, as you will be using various software applications to track shipments, manage inventory, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Shipments: Plan and coordinate the shipment of products from the point of origin to the final destination, ensuring timely delivery.

Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork. Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any shipping-related issues.

Tracking and Reporting: Utilize shipping and tracking software to monitor the status of shipments and generate reports for management. Provide regular updates on the status of shipments.

Compliance: Stay informed about shipping regulations and ensure compliance with local and international shipping laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in computer applications, including shipping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.

Problem-Solving: A proactive problem solver with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and shipping records.
