Shipping and Receiving Clerk
A well-established manufacturing company in Cincinnati that offers a competitive wage and seeking someone to hire on after the temp-to-hire phase.
Position Details:
Seeking candidates for a shipping and receiving position. This is a 1st shift position with the hours of 7am-3:30pm, with starting the pay of $20.00-$24.00/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities
The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for operating a forklift and staging shipments.

• Operate forklifts
• Follow packing list/purchasing orders
• Unload in coming and out going shipments
• Wrap skids and stage for shipping
• Set up shipments for customer orders
• Read DOT/IATA requirements for international orders
• Appropriately label containers for international orders based on specific recuirements
• Move material in various containers that weight up to 500lbs with the use of moving equipment
• Maintain neat, organized and clean workspace at all times
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Able to complete DOT/IATA training once every three years
• Strong communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Forklift experience is preferred
• 1 year of warehousing/manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills
• Able to multitask and follow instruction with minimal supervision

Licensures and Certifications: Able to obtain in house forklift certification
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
