We are seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk to service out at corporate office in our Van Nuys. We fully train our staff, but we can’t train personality. We are hiring personality, and if you have it, we want to hear from you.

Job Details:

· Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of printed materials on hand at all times.

· Receive and execute orders from supervisors.

· Ensure orders are fulfilled properly and in a timely fashion.

· Assemble binders, UPS boxes, and student packages

· Assemble PPE Kits for EPA & MOLD classes.

· Communicate and maintain good relations with vendors.

· Be familiar with UPS & USPS procedures policies and regulations.

· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

· Must be familiar with proper packaging methods.

· Maintain a safe working environment.

· Use Customer Management System to extract necessary information to complete orders in a timely manner and for problem solving/trouble-shooting of orders.

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Inspect equipment constantly to maintain in proper working conditions.

Requirements:

· Education: Must have a high school diploma

· Customer Service: 1 year

· Warehouse/Shipping experience preferred

· MS Word, Excel, Outlook

· Verbal and Written Communication Skills

· High level of attention to detail

· Good memory retention of procedures once trained

· Ability to solve problems and work independently

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday| 8:45 am – 5:15 pm Friday|8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour + potential quarterly bonuses
