Shipping Clerk

We are looking for an organized Shipping Clerk with attention to detail and ability to multitask. Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Quote and arrange shipments both incoming and outgoing, including international shipments.

Process orders for shipping, enter the tracking information into ERP system, print documents and labels for corresponding orders.

Schedule shipments to be picked up.

File claims on damaged or missing products.

Cross-train in all aspects of the shipping department to provide backup assistance when necessary.

Communicate and work with the customer experience team on issues and/or information on orders.

Willingness to adhere to lean standards including continuous improvement.

Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures, and expectations.

Be open and willing to assist whenever, and wherever your help is needed.

Give advance notice to your manager of any time off and provide preparation with the necessary tools to perform your duties in your absence.

Look for and find opportunities to go above and beyond in your daily work.

Other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Key Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required.

1-2 years of Shipping experience preferred.

Basic computer proficiency required (excel, word)

Preferred knowledge of warehouse management systems.

Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and be a team player, willing to accept change.

Ability to organize, prioritize and focus on tasks at hand.

Must be a self-starter, and detail oriented.

Excellent communication skills

$18/hr

Monday to Friday

Start time: 8:00 AM

End time: 4:30PM
