This role involves packing, labeling, and shipping responsibilities, with additional tasks in receiving when needed. - Operate computer systems to print labels for outgoing shipments.
- Ensure accurate placement of labels and verify information against work orders.
- Assist in the receiving department during the absence of the receiver.
- Intake deliveries, identify correct delivery locations, and verify work orders for incoming packages.
- Maintain a team-oriented attitude and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Learn and retain new skills related to shipping procedures and computer programs.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using computers and learning new shipping programs – Required.
- Hi-Lo experience – Desired.
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving – Preferred.
