Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Shipping and Receiving Clerk ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receive and unload incoming materials. Compare information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, labels, unpacks, inventory which is received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.
• Prepare shipments of products, materials, and supplies as directed.
• Track, trace and update status of outgoing shipments
• Move and transport materials between departments, manually or using material handling equipment.
• Locate parts for production as needed
• Other duties as assignment by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Licensed Forklift operator and able to operate other material handling equipment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge in MS Office products
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of receiving documentation (i.e. manifests, invoices, and packing slips)
• Ability to climb up and down ladders
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
