Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Plastic Express, Inc. is a wholesale distribution company located in North East New Jersey providing service to companies throughout the Tri-State area.

Currently we are looking for a Shipping/Logistics Associate who will join our team in Union, NJ.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes customer returns received through Amazon to minimize loss of products
• Verifies and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Processes Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse
• Forwards shipping/receiving documentation and record Shipping and Receiving details to the appropriate units on a regular and timely basis
• Counts items correctly and compare them to the PO that comes in with it
• Researches inbound items to assess for marketability on Amazon and eBay
• Follows listing standards in allocating correct store and shipping information
• Creates and manage labeling change requests within the document management system
• Enhances the Amazon and ebay catalog, listings, pricing adjustments, planning, and implementing new strategies, while analyzing similar products on Amazon
• Maintains a clean and organized shipping station on a daily basis

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields in a warehouse setting
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office / Google sheets and general computer programs
• Must know their way around the computer and be able to learn new software quickly!
• Experience working with online marketplaces (e.g. Amazon Seller Central) is a plus
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift between 25 - 50 pounds
• English and Spanish speaking

**Duties and tasks are to be performed within a commercial warehouse and office setting with varying temperatures.

Please note that all candidates must be able to lift between 25-50 pounds.
