Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Shift / Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities: Duties performed in this role will be conducted in a manufacturing shop environment where employees may be exposed to loud noises, machinery, and heavy equipment. All employees are required to wear the appropriate protective equipment when performing assigned duties.

• Pulls, packs and ships all parts orders
• Receive and inspect inbound inventory, includes reporting of any discrepancies, entry into computer, and delivering material to the correct person/department
• Pull, pack, and ship out parts orders
• Perform vehicle yard maintenance and other general labor work as needed
• Assist with routine building care and maintenance including, but not limited to snow removal, garbage removal, hazmat, scrap, and basic landscaping needs
• Assist with inventory management of PPE equipment and safety materials
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Shipping/Receiving and warehouse experience required, related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Computer literate with experience on Microsoft Outlook and related shipping/receiving software
• Ability to work in a high paced environment
• Team player, positive attitude, and solid interpersonal/problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Customer service-minded and focused on providing quality products with best-in-class service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
