Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Summary:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensures all documentation & procedures are completed.
• Understands and applies procedures/work instructions.
• Performs all packaging & shipping functions.
• Backs-up in assembly and stock room as required.
• Coordinates package pick-ups.
• Performs administrative duties consistent with departmental practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.

Requirements

Education, Skills, and Experience:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· One-year parts/warehouse related experience preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must have good organization skills

· Basic computer skills

· Experience with an ERP system

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. Job responsibilities demand exposure to production. Company lifting limitations will be enforced. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical part, and vibration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
