Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $19 per hour.

What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the receipt and identification of incoming parts, materials, and supplies in the Receiving Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• . Receive all incoming material, supplies, equipment, and returned goods.
• Unload material from delivery trucks.
• Unpack parts and materials.
• Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, and dimensions to properly identify incoming material to ensure conformance to bills of lading, invoices and packing lists.
• Identify and color code bar stock.
• Maintain records and receive reports following established systems.
• Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations as necessary.
• Assist in taking periodic inventories.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the receiving area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Process vendor rejections and computer input documents.
• Prepare and distribute receiving paperwork to various departments.
• Maintains filing system for Purchase Orders, machined parts (MP's, IP's, AP's, etc.) paperwork, receivers, and Receiving logs.
• Mandatory overtime may be required.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Other duties may include moving to other areas of logistics to manage peak workloads in the stockroom or shipping areas.
• Stockroom duties include pulling material using a Bill of Material, bagging, identifying, and kitting for assembly.
• Cycle counting may be required.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of receiving or shipping & receiving experience.
POSITION CRITERIA
• Ability to read, write, and print legibly and interpret invoices, bills of lading, and other documents. Requires the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, or as approved by the hiring manager.
• May occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor; understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; accept constructive criticism; and work under stress.
• Handle fairly heavy materials. Operate forklift. Factory Environment.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Forklift certified
• Have worked with a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
