SalaryWe are a custom automotive parts manufacturer. We are looking for a detail oriented person who can assist with the packing of orders, ability to lift and move items up to 70 pounds, prepare the shipping documents, invoicing and processing payments.
Receiving duties may include receiving shipments, forklift operation, checking items, putting items away in proper departments. Automotive knowledge is preferred.
Other duties may include answering phones and taking orders from customers. Must be punctual, take directions well and work well with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: Stand, walk, as well as talk and hear. Will frequently manipulate parts weighing up to 30 lbs. and move more than 30 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment and/or assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision. Requires manual dexterity and continued use of both hands, use of hand tools and related equipment for packing items for shipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Employee is occasionally exposed to moving forklifts, working shop machinery and power tools. Work environment is indoors. Workstation is located in an industrial manufacturing shop. Temperature in work area can exceed 85º throughout the work day. Exposure to sharp aluminum shavings and burr chips. Noise level in the work environment usually varies from moderate to high. Moderate-to-high vibration by industrial machinery and power tools.
