Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Process items for shipment.
• Process morning freight & overnight parts.
• Process freight and deliver to appropriate areas of dealership.
• Process all returns from wholesale customers and issue credits.
• Submit returns to manufacturer.
• Clear old special-order parts and return to dealer or put in stock.
• Submit damaged claims.
• Process transmission / Hybrid battery cores.
• Communicate incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal customers and managers.
• Ensure effective tracking of shipments.
• Dispatch delivery drivers.
• Organize part pick-up from other dealerships.
• Assist the parts department as needed with inventory and stocking.
• Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management.

• Provide support to management and other departments as directed.

In addition, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk should have:

• Knowledge of CDK.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Good judgement.
