**Position Summary**
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our company by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accurate fulfillment of client orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This position offers a unique opportunity for a responsible and dedicated individual interested in learning about the industry and potentially advancing within the company.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of commercial door products.
- Accurately pull orders and prepare products for shipment.
- Unload and load trucks using a pallet jack or forklift
- Assist in loading products for client pickups, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the Shipping and Receiving department
- Conduct inventory checks and update inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Be flexible in performing various tasks as needed to support overall business operations.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Shipping and Receiving or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not mandatory.
