Job overview:
We are looking for motivated people who are willing to learn and have a continuous drive to improve. They are curious about how things work and how to continually improve them and want to be part of an amazing team.
The Fabricator is responsible for various jobs throughout the shop. Some of those include: laser cutting, punching, bending, sanding, hardware, welding, and powder coat. You will turn huge sheets of metal into amazing, precise and beautiful products. You will learn to operate many different hi-tech machines properly and safely, while producing quality parts that you can be proud to say that you contributed to. You will gain knowledge of how to read blueprints to ensure the quality of products according to blueprints with exact specifications.
No previous experience is necessary, we just ask that you come hungry to learn, work hard and pay attention to detail. We will teach you skills that will help build a future in manufacturing. We require knowledge about basic math and the ability to read and write. It is a huge bonus if you have any previous Sheet Metal fabrication experience, such as the ability to read and understand blueprints, experience using calipers and other measuring equipment, and have solid computer literacy.
You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying working conditions. In this position you will be expected to lift up to 50 lbs., work a physically demanding shift of 8-10 hours per day, do repetitive motions for extended periods of time and be comfortable working on your feet for the entire shift.
The Fabricator position wage is based on your skill level. The more skills you can learn and master (or already know), the higher wage you can earn. The current salary range for a fabricator is from $18 - $40 per hour.
