This intern will primarily report to the Manager, Operations and play a pivotal part in the transformation of the Accounts Payable function. This role will allow an intern to get exposure to technologies, process and people and how this combination drives efficiency. Removes non-value added work to improve the customer (internal and external) service experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support initiatives for Shared Service Finance P2P team including rationalization, categorization and cleanse of supporting Finance file structures
- Develop automated workflows to reduce dependence on shared drives, eliminating non-value added (NVA) tasks (triggering reviews)
- Analyze service levels of the finance community served by SSC Finance NA, M&A activities
- Assist the Ops Manager with evaluating internal controls, updating established procedures, and developing new procedures to ensure appropriate levels of access
- Contribute to the implementation SharePoint and develop approach for reducing the dependence on shared files, with consistency
- Contribute to the archiving program ensuring key financial documents are accessible, with appropriate security

- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited degree program
- Ability to spot trends/insights/opportunities
- Requires strong Excel Skills and Word, Power Point is a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Teams/Zoom
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
