A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE MANAGER

This position will enhance Sexual Assault services to the all age's Spanish speaking community in King County by providing direct client services and support group services to ensure needs are met for the client in a manner which ensures safety planning, needs assessment and intervention for survivors of Sexual Assault. The Sexual Assault Counselor will ensure services are provided in a holistic and culturally sensitive process, which promotes the dignity, respect, safety and maximum optimal functioning of the individual.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE MANAGER

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and 2 years' experience
• Group facilitator experience.
• Experience working with victims of Sexual Assault and/or crime required.
• Experience providing individual therapy and advocacy.
• Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer Spanish language.
• Sensitivity and understanding of challenges experienced by Sexual assault survivors.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing both English and Spanish
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid Washington State Driver's license required.
• Lifting requirements up to 25 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time therapy position works a typical schedule of 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

SALARY

$47,000 - $54,000 a year depending on qualifications and experience
